Sundays @ 10am

We’d love to see you this weekend! Our Sunday gatherings are fun, inspirational, and a great place to find community.

Wednesdays @ 12pm

Our midweek communion service is a more intimate and contemplative service.

Welcome Message

Welcome. If you are exploring faith or looking for a church home, we are glad to see you. As a Church we want to love God and our neighbor. So we gather to worship each Sunday and go out carrying his love and light to the people of LA.

As Anglicans we worship God with ancient rites in a contemporary style. We pray you will be blessed!

Fr. Rob’s welcome and what to expect as you arrive.

Sunday Service FAQs

What Is a Sunday Service Like?

Our service begins at 10:00 am and is about 90 minutes long. Our music is a blend of the great hymns of the church and contemporary worship songs.  We hear readings from both the Old and New Testaments, we participate in the singing of the psalm, we listen to teaching from God’s word, and we receive Communion together.

What Should I Wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Our services are casual and friendly. Some people dress up, while others are more informal.

Where Do I Go When I First Arrive?

Just enter through our front doors and you will find yourself in the lobby where you’ll be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team and given a printed bulletin for the service. From the lobby, you can enter the sanctuary and sit wherever you prefer.

Will I Be Expected to Give Money?

There is a point in our service where we pass an offering plate for members and regular attenders. New visitors are never expected to give.

How Will I Know What to Do?

We have a printed bulletin for each service. It leads you through the service and includes the words that are spoken by both the leaders and the congregation. In our bulletin and during the service, we explain some of the words and rituals we use. Even those well acquainted with these forms are regularly reminded of their purpose and deep meaning. There are also large monitors at the front and back of the sanctuary on which the words and graphics are projected.

What About Children?

There is nursery care available for infants and toddlers, as well as Sunday School for school-aged children. Infants and toddlers can be signed into the nursery before service begins. School-aged children who wish to go to Sunday School begin the service with their parents, and then, after the opening singing and welcome time, are invited to accompany our Children’s Minister downstairs for Sunday School. They are escorted back to their parents in the sanctuary before Communion time. Middle School and High School students attend Sunday service with their families and can attend Youth Group meetings and activities on Sunday afternoons.

How Can I Get to Know People?

After our Sunday service there’s a time to chat over coffee and snacks.

Some people enjoy going out for lunch after service — lovely downtown Montrose is just steps away and full of excellent dining destinations.

There are also some other ways to connect with people, including activities such as our Outdoor Club, an online Bible Reading group, and a weekly Zoom Bible Study.

When you visit, please fill out a Connect Card so that Fr. Rob can contact you and invite you out for coffee!

Have A Question?

We get it… And we’re here to help! If you have any questions about who where are, where we’re at, or how we do things, just ask!
