Hike up the alleys to the side trail, then up the fire roads to the Cross of San Ysidro above the valley. An evening hike in hopes of cooler temps, we will also enjoy the 7:53 pm sunset. However, it will be a more challenging hike, requiring uphill sections with 6-12% gradients. Bring a water bottle.
