Eric joined the staff at St. Luke’s in October of 2016. Prior to that Eric had been very involved with the church for several years serving at various times as Senior Warden, Volunteer Staff Member, Interim Youth Director (twice!), and Building to Serve Campaign Chairperson. In his previous life/career, Eric moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to join the french horn section of the Los Angeles Philharmonic after moving around the country for several years building his playing career. He enjoyed the privilege of playing with some of the world’s greatest orchestras all over the world during this time. Health reasons called him out of this career path in 2014 and God used this opportunity to slowly convince Eric He wanted him in ministry. In addition to serving as youth pastor, Eric joined the staff to help people connect with each other, the church, their colleagues, their neighbors, and to create opportunities for such connections. He lives with his wife Dedra, and two kids, Rachel and Sam in Tujunga.
