Songs We're Singing - Sept. 28

This week we begin our Fall Study of the book of Philippians. We will spend 8 weeks or so diving into the themes and topics addressed by this letter, both in our sermons and in our small groups. If you haven't been a part of a small group in the past, now is a great time to join! Click here for more information on our groups.

A main theme introduced in Phil. 1 is the conviction that Christ and his glory is better and more important than anything else in our life. Paul writes this while imprisoned: "The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice." The most important thing to him is the message of the Gospel reaching out to those who have not heard. It is a cause for rejoicing, no matter what our present circumstance.

One newer song we'll sing that meditates on that theme is called "Christ is Enough." Listen to it here:

Another newer song this week is "Good to Me," by Craig Musseau:

See you on Sunday!
