Short Bio

While the Lord has been in my life from a very young age (baptized and confirmed in the catholic church), my relationship and walk with God started when I was 18 and stationed in Germany as a soldier.  God revealed his love to me so clearly, what an amazing experience.  I then started on a journey to live a life that was directed by God as a young mother.  I was involved in everything my children were involved in, I sang in the choir (oh how I loved that for the holidays), taught Children's Sunday School, put on many holiday plays with the children and learned all I know about our Lord, His grace and His love by working with the children.

Once my children grew up and went off to explore the world I found the need to be active in a different role because my love was no longer that of a child but of an adult.  We came to St. Luke’s in 2000 and I have been Director and Teacher of Alpha, Director and Teacher of Adult Education, Vestry member, Chair of the Social Committee (we threw some great Christmas parties at “Hook Tree”), American Anglican Council (AACLA) member, Convener of the Regional Anglicans Women Council, stewardship member, Hosted Women's Retreat for St. Luke’s, established the Small Groups and facilitated 40 Days of Love.

Currently I facilitate a Small Group in Pasadena, attend the Love Ladies Small Group (what a blessing this group has been to me as a women) and am Chair of Stewardship.  I work for Kaiser Permanente as a physician educator, but my best work is being the wife of Don Gunn and Mother of KC and Tiffanie White. As a vestry member: Lord, “Give us grace, laughter, peace, and confidence, and the joy of walking every step of the way with you”. Amen.
