#1 “Genesis: Promised Land Living” Christianity Today Intl – Study Through the Bible Series. FIVE MEATY STUDIES – How do we take-hold of the promises of God / “take the land”. How do we follow God wherever he leads, move forward in-faith, and realize God’s promises. Fr. Rob would really like to promote this one as being exceptionally timely for St. Luke’s. #2 N.T. Wright – 1^st Corinthians – 13 Studies for Individuals and Groups. The ancient church in Corinth was placed in a very cosmopolitan / worldly setting. #3 Todd Hunter – “Christianity Beyond Belief: Following Jesus for the Sake of Others” A book based study. How shall Christians live a life derived from and lived within the Kingdom of GOD, as cooperative friends and followers of Jesus Christ, living constant lives of creative-goodness, for the sake of others, through the power of the Holy Spirit, How shall we communicate the Gospel (of the Kingdom) / evangelize to a late/post-modern cultural context.
